Company overview

Glencore plc is one of the world’s largest integrated producers and marketers of commodities. Glencore’s products are grouped into metals and minerals, energy products, and agricultural products.1

Glencore listed on the London Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2011, and on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in 2013.2Glencore merged with Xstrata plc in 2013.3 Following the merger, the company adopted the name Glencore Xstrata plc. In May 2014, Glencore Xstrata plc changed its name to Glencore plc following the 2014 AGM.4
